Inventions and Inventors - Bicycle

The bicycle is a vehicle with two wheels attached to a frame, moved by the effort of the user through pedals an it was invented in the nineteenth century in Europe.
The bike is used both as a means of transport and is used for competition and leisure.












The bycicle was invented by 5 inventors and the all inventors contributed with one aspect for the actual bycicle.

- Da Vinci - invention the transmission system
- Karl von Sauerbronn - contributed with handlebars (1816) and a new conception (1818)
- Kirkpatrick Macmillan - adapted two rods on axis in bycicle (1840)
- Ernest Michaux - invented the pedal (1855)
- Pierre Lallement - modified the design (1862)
